Beauty packaging container manufacturer Quadpack has announced the launch of its new Regula Refill jar. Designed and manufactured from a single material, the jar is reusable and recyclable, optimizing the consumer experience.
The 50ml jar has a thick, transparent PET outer layer that looks like glass. The liner is made of PP, which is easy to heat-seal and is suitable for filling skin care and beauty products.
The lid of this double-walled jar is also made of PP material, and the entire jar is recyclable. Quadpack said that each component of the jar can be decorated using "various processes." There is a gap between the thick outer wall and the inner liner to facilitate opening and closing, and a "click" sound is designed to indicate that the can is tightly closed.
Previously, Fasten also launched a similar design - an ultra-light, reusable thermoformed refill cup made of 100% recycled polypropylene. It is reported that this design can save up to 80% of material compared to a standard 50ml can.
