    What is recycled PCR plastic?
    A
    PCR, the full name of which is Post-Consumer Recycled material, is post-consumer recycled plastic. Waste plastics generated after circulation, consumption and use can be turned into extremely valuable industrial production raw materials through physical or chemical recycling, thus realizing resource recycling and reuse. For example, recycled materials such as PET, PE, PP, and HDPE come from waste plastics generated by lunch boxes, shampoo bottles, mineral water bottles, washing machine barrels, etc. that we often use. After reprocessing, they can be used to make new plastic raw materials.

    What is GRS?
    A

          GRS is the Global Recycled Standard (GRS Certification for short), which is an international, voluntary, and complete product standard. The content is aimed at the implementation of product recycling, chain of custody control, recycled content, social responsibility and environmental regulations, and chemical restrictions by supply chain manufacturers. It was initiated by Textile Exchange and certified by a third-party certification body.

          The purpose of GRS certification is to ensure that the declarations on related products are correct, and to ensure that the products are produced in a good working environment and with minimal environmental impact and chemical impact. GRS certification is to meet the company's verification of recycled/recycled content in products (including finished products and semi-finished products), and to verify social responsibility, environmental regulations and chemical use related operations.

    What is CCER?
    A

            CCER (China Certified Emission Reduction) is China's certified emission reduction. According to the "Interim Measures for the Administration of Voluntary Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Trading", the emission reductions participating in voluntary emission reductions must be registered and filed in the national voluntary emission reduction trading register by the national competent authorities. The registered emission reductions are called "China Certified Emission Reductions (CCER)".

            After the emission reductions of voluntary emission reduction projects are registered, they will be traded in the registered trading institutions. CCER and the national carbon emission trading market launched in July 2021 together constitute a complete national carbon market system.

    What is TC certificate?
    A

            TC: Transaction Certificate

            A certificate used to confirm that the products produced and traded comply with the corresponding rules. The certificate is usually issued by the certification body of the product processing unit (or trading unit).

            All recycled materials entering the supply chain should have a valid transaction certificate (TC) issued by an accredited certification body. The percentage of pre-consumer and post-consumer material content of each batch should be recorded separately at each certification site and recorded on the transaction certificate.

            If TC is opened, it must be applied for within 6 months from the date of shipment. The company will not apply for TC after the deadline!

            CB: Certification Body

            SC: Scope Certificate

    Life Cycle Assessment
    A
            Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a methodological tool used to evaluate the environmental impacts associated with all stages of a product's life cycle, including the entire process from raw material acquisition, production, use, recycling to final disposal of the product (i.e. "from cradle to grave"). It can help individuals, companies, organizations or governments make internal decisions and provide a basis for broad policy making.

    Marine plastics
    A

            In-the-ocean plastics: refers to plastics that already exist in the ocean. This part of plastic can be divided into the following categories according to the difficulty of its collection and treatment:

            1. Nearshore plastic (nearshore plastic) - plastic floating (less than 200 meters deep) in the ocean (within) 12 nautical miles/22.2 kilometers (territorial waters concept) or 50 kilometers from the coastline;

            2. High-sea plastic (high-sea plastic) - plastic floating (less than 200 meters deep) in the ocean (within) 22.2h or 50 kilometers from the coastline;

            3. Deep-sea plastic (deep-sea plastic) ——Plastics in seawater deeper than 200 meters are difficult to salvage and are mostly microplastics, which are more harmful to marine life;
