Recently, Haier Smart Home and MATERI’ACT, a subsidiary of FORVIA Group, a world-renowned automotive technology supplier, reached a long-term strategic cooperation. Haier Smart Home Recycling will provide MATERI’ACT with stable high-quality recycled PCR raw materials, and the two parties will jointly promote the green development of the automotive industry chain.
As the builder of the first full-link green recycling ecosystem in the home appliance industry, Haier Smart Home Recycling has currently built the country's largest waste home appliance recycling network system and the industry's first recycling interconnected factory covering all production factors of sorting, disassembly and regeneration. Through this cooperation with MATERI’ACT, Haier Smart Home is expected to provide green and low-carbon recycling new materials for major global automobile, electronic and electrical enterprises.
It is worth mentioning that Haier Smart Home has built a full-link digital smart factory through the interconnection of smart devices, while continuously innovating disassembly and recycling processes to accelerate the high-value application level of shield ring new materials. Through digital empowerment and refined disposal, efficient and standardized disassembly of waste home appliances is achieved, and the industry's most advanced high-quality PCR cleaning and sorting line is deployed. The removal rate of metal impurities and glass in the disassembled waste plastics is 100%, and black spot impurities are effectively cleaned, with an impurity rate of <0.2%.
In the future, Haier Smart Home will continue to be committed to the transition from "home appliance recycling" to "plastic recycling", using high-quality recycled PCR raw materials to expand downstream applications in automobiles, daily chemicals and other fields, and jointly build a recycling technology "ecosystem" with deep integration of production, education and research of recycled plastics with upstream and downstream companies.
