It is reported that onTOP, a new functional skincare product with "superior purity" as its core, has joined hands with Eastman and WWP Beauty to use CristalRenew sustainable polyester containing 50% recycled ingredients produced by molecular recycling technology as the bottle material of its nourishing and repairing oil cream. onTOP has become the first Chinese local beauty brand to use Eastman sustainable polyester.

It is understood that the molecular recycling technology degrades plastic waste into monomers to produce recycled materials with the same performance as virgin materials, providing high-end cosmetics brands with more design freedom. At the same time, it also reduces the use of fossil raw materials, reduces the landfill of plastic waste and greenhouse gas emissions, and is beneficial to environmental protection. Eastman said that the tripartite cooperation can mobilize resources from the entire value chain and bring real changes to the industry. Without changing the performance of each product, sustainable development is achieved in terms of technology, design, products and other aspects of personal care products, bringing a new sustainable case to the beauty market.

"onTop advocates "light packaging". Light is a sustainable attitude. We are committed to achieving lightweight, beautiful and eco-friendly formulas and packaging. We upgraded the packaging material of the newly launched cream to Eastman Renew series sustainable polyester, which helps reduce consumption and ecological impact, and helps achieve the lightness of the earth with a small but determined force." said Emma Ni, founder of the onTop brand.
