This month, global packaging innovator Sealed Air launched three new environmentally friendly bubble bag products in China - Fill-Air recycled plastic bubble bags, Fill-Air Slim 10 micron lightweight high-performance film bubble bags, and Fill-Air bio-based plastic bubble bags.

These three bubble bags have been carefully designed to reduce the impact on the environment from the aspects of reducing plastic, reusing recycled plastics, and developing new bio-based materials. The three environmentally friendly bubble bags all inherit the excellent performance of Sealed Air Fill-Air, with the same inflatable filling and cushioning protection performance, and support personalized graphic printing on the surface, which is 100% recyclable. These three bubble bags will be widely used in express delivery to prevent items from shifting, bruising or breaking during transportation, while protecting consumer products, but also protecting our earth's environment.

The three environmentally friendly bubble bags launched by Sealed Air this time, on the one hand, make efficient use of recyclable resources, reduce carbon footprint, and make consumers feel more at ease; on the other hand, they can also improve the operational efficiency of manufacturers. For example, Fill-Air Slim 10 micron lightweight high-performance film bubble bags, due to thinner film, the same weight of packaging material, the length is increased by 33%, reducing unit cost and reducing the number of film changes.

With the launch of this new product, Sealed Air is one step closer to its previously announced sustainable commitment - that is, to achieve 100% of packaging materials recyclable or reusable by 2025, and to achieve net zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2040 (within Sealed Air's global operations and supply chain). Previously, Sealed Air had committed to reducing emissions by 25% by 2020, and ultimately exceeded the target with a 43% reduction. Sealed Air hopes that the launch of the new environmentally friendly bubble bag will inspire people to think about sustainable packaging and further promote the sustainable development of the packaging industry.
