BMW, Audi and Ford accelerate the application of recycled plastics in interior and exterior trims
With the release of a regulatory proposal on End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV) by the European Commission, the proposal was formulated in accordance with the European Green Deal and the Circular Economy Action Plan, requiring that 25% of the plastics used in the manufacture of new cars must come from recycled materials, of which 25% must be recovered from scrapped vehicles. Under the urging of this regulation, the use of recycled plastics in automobiles has been greatly encouraged.
